For more than 30 years, music has been a part of my life. I’ve always had songs, lyrics, sounds, stories, and crazy musical ideas running through my head. I always wanted a band that could bring those ideas to life; I just never had the time, the musicians, or the opportunity to make it happen.
Now I do.
BLACK CODE is the band I always wanted.
Using today’s digital music technology, I’m finally able to take ideas I’ve carried around for years and turn them into actual songs. The technology may be new, but the ideas, stories, emotions, and love of music behind them are very real.
And around here, we don’t stay in one lane.
I’ve never believed good music should be locked into one genre. If it sounds good, tells a story, makes you think, brings back a memory, or makes you turn it up a little louder.
Some songs will make you laugh.
Some might make you think.
Some might hit you right in the heart.
