Abhinav Varun Revis is a UK based DP/ Filmmaker. Growing up in the scenic foothills of the Garhwal Himalayas, he always had an eye for capturing beauty in the natural world around him and in the lives of people he met, once he started to travel on his motorbike as a teenager. Always flunked in Mathematics, yet scoring the highest marks in Comprehension Writing, he soon discovered that he could tell stories, be it with a pen or a camera.
In High-school, after he assisted his cousin in a Documentary film project, he became infatuated with Filmmaking. Finishing his schooling in the year 2008, he decided to join a Film School, going against his mother's hopes of his training in the Medical field.
Since 2010, Abhinav has done hundreds of Documentary shorts for various organisations around the world and has also been involved in Feature films. In 2015, Abhinav was awarded the CBN's International Award, after he spent a gruelling 46 days of Documentary Production in Nepal after the Earthq
