Your career shouldn’t cost you your mobility.
Vancouver is home to some of the most driven professionals in the world. But 8 to 10 hours at a desk creates a physical "glitch" that no amount of coffee can fix.
It starts with tight hips. Then your glutes "turn off." Before you know it, you’re dealing with chronic mid-back pain, "Tech Neck," and the afternoon brain fog that kills your productivity.
I call it The Sitting Disease Cycle.
After 16 years of working head-on with clients, I’ve seen that the best performers aren't just the smartest; they are the ones who move the best. When you fix the mechanical glitches in your body, you reclaim the cognitive energy needed for your career, your family, and your passions.
Start breaking the cycle today with these 3 "Desk Wins":
1. The 30/2 Rule: Every 30 minutes, stand up for 2 minutes. Reset your nervous system.
2. The Glute Wake-up: Squeeze your glutes for 10 seconds while standing at your desk to counter hip tightness.
3. The Scapular Reset: Pull your shoulder blades down and back to reverse the slouch and open up your airway.
Is your team hitting a physical ceiling?
If your teammates need more than a nudge to stay healthy, let’s talk. I use clinical-grade 3D Biometric Audits to identify movement glitches in 60 seconds, giving your team a data-driven roadmap to pain-free performance.
Reach out today via DM and let's get your team moving better.

🦅 🐾 Balancing Two Worlds: The Raven and The Dog
I’ve always felt a deep connection to my heritage, and looking into my horoscopes really brings it all into focus. I carry the spirit of both the Raven and the Dog.
🪶 The Raven (Indigenous Astrology)
As a Raven, I am a “bringer of light” and a visionary. This sign represents:
• Balance and Diplomacy: Striving for harmony and fairness in everything I do.
• Spirituality: Acting as a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds. Revitalizing our roots is a core part of who I am.
• Connection: Using my voice to share stories and connect deeply with the community.
🐕 The Dog (Chinese Zodiac)
I also embody the traits of the Dog, a sign defined by:
• Loyalty and Integrity: Being fiercely protective of family and valuing honesty above all.
• Intuition and Empathy: This sign is reflective and intuitive, helping me understand and connect with the people around me on a deeper level.
• Justice: A strong drive to do what’s right and stand up for others.
✨ How They Work Together
The Raven gives me the “wings” to see the big picture and the spiritual depth to inspire, while the Dog gives me the “paws” on the ground to stay loyal and see my projects through to the end. Proud to walk this path! 🧡❤️
P.S. My recent DNA results confirmed the beautiful mix that makes me who I am:
• Indigenous Americas: 67% Canada & United States and 2% Yucatán Peninsula.
• East Asia: 18% Southern China and 4% Central & Eastern China & Taiwan.
• Nordic: 5% Denmark and 1% Norway.
• Celtic & Gaelic: 1% Brittany, France and 1% Isle of Man.
• Western Europe: 1% The Netherlands.
It’s powerful to see this heritage reflected in both my spirit and my science. 🧬🙏🏽

Finding Your Rhythm, Building Our Strength 👣
I’ve been reflecting on this quote from Elder George Paul’s book, Sacred Thought. He reminds us that "Rhythm is our natural inheritance." It’s in our atoms, the seasons, and the very orbit of the Earth.
But rhythm isn't just something we have it’s something we practice.
When we step into our fitness journeys, we are reclaiming that inheritance.
Every breath in a heavy lift, every stride on a run, and every beat of a heart during a tough session is us tuning ourselves back into the "Sacred Thought" of the universe.
Why does this matter for the community?
Because a healthy self is a helpful self. When we find our individual rhythm through fitness, we gain the energy, clarity, and stamina to uplift those around us. We move from surviving to thriving, and that vibration is contagious.
Let’s stop seeing fitness as just a "body goal" and start seeing it as a way to align with the rhythm of life so we can better serve our community.

The holidays have a way of slowing everything down.
More time with family.
More moments with friends.
More space to reflect.
This is also the season where an open heart matters most.
For those carrying a heavy load.
For the people who feel unseen.
And for you too.
Take care of your mind over these weeks.
Move your body in ways that feel good.
Protect your energy and your spirit.
You don’t need to do everything right.
You don’t need to be “on” all the time.
Just be present.
Wishing you health, connection, and peace this holiday season.

“Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”
Helen Keller
Life gives you pressure for a reason.
Every situation either strengthens you or defeats you. The difference comes down to choice. You either let circumstances hold you down, or you use resistance to rise.
When resistance increases, strength follows. You do not become stronger than your past self by avoiding challenges. You grow by meeting them head on.
Think about Rocky IV. He trained against easy opponents. He lost his edge. He lost his hunger. The moment he faced a real opponent, everything changed.
The same applies to life. When you face something unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or demanding, embrace it. That challenge exists to sharpen you.
The stronger the opponent, the greater the victory.
Stay ready. Stay disciplined. Build your edge.

Pull-ups are one of the most powerful bodyweight exercises you can add to your training. They challenge your back, shoulders, and grip in ways that machines and isolation exercises can’t. This movement teaches true upper-body control, stability, and strength.
If you can’t do them yet, skip the big band assistance. Bands often mask progress and make it hard to measure real improvements. Instead, try these alternatives:
• TRX angled pull-ups with a wide grip to build control.
• Barbell in a squat rack set low, where you pull your chest toward the bar and focus on a slow eccentric (lowering phase).
These variations help you develop grip endurance, shoulder stability, and pulling strength that translates directly to clean, unassisted pull-ups.
Every rep is a step toward mastering your own bodyweight.
