BRICK
'Brick makes animations, videos and music.'
I started making music videos with my dad about ten years ago, he would pick the original content and the music and tell me to put the 'magic on it' -- this involved a lot of breaking various video editing software. We never really set out to do anything other than form these collaborations and video collages.
At some point I started to develop my own ideas about things and around that time I discovered 'vaporwave' just as it was beginning to get some attention around 2014. I started to form connections with artists online and began to consume more new digital art. Around this time many enormous life changing things happened to me which sealed me into the point of exploration I was at in 2014. After this I started 'The Hoon' which has continued up to this point.
