The Department of Recreation is Albany's provider of fun activities for the whole community. Our purpose is to build connections in our community, through recreation based activities. Operating scheduled programs and self-guided opportunities year-round, REC boasts amenities that include playgrounds, pools, athletic courts and fields, community centers, a skating rink, a skateboard park, gyms, and more.
REC is what makes Albany a great place to live, work, and PLAY!
