The band called the KOLIN was formed in 2008 in Budapest, Hungary. They play indie synth pop music. You can mostly hear analogue synths from the '80, living sounds from the '90 mixed with dirty guitar sounds and groovy drums. Marko often sings falsetto like the Bee Gees.
At their shows they are wearing unusual clothes and they always pay special attention to keep their audience excited. Their first record "Yell into ihe Kazoo" was released by Universal Hungary in 2008. They were nominated as Best European Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2009, Berlin and at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010, Madrid.
Marko (the singer-songwriter and producer) started his musical career as a child singer in the Hungarian National Opera House. He plays the piano since he was nine years old.
