I’ve been a children’s author and illustrator for over 40 years, and I believe drawing isn’t just art — it’s a thinking tool, a literacy skill, and a lifelong pleasure.

• Simple techniques that build confidence in kids and adults
• Tips from my book The Golden Secrets of Drawing on removing the barriers that stop people drawing

You may have noticed that I've been getting more and more philosophical lately? Well, I've decide to put all that stuff onto a new channel @thecertainwaytoriches I have two whole subscribers! But maybe, if you like my musings, you would like to subscribe to that channel too.
My first video for the channel is called Getting Rich. I know - it's click bait, just like the title of the 1911 book that inspires me to make these videos - The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles.
The deeper you go into it, the less does the word Rich mean money - but maybe you've found that out for yourself already. If not, you might find my video interesting - maybe even enlightening.
It's not a subject you can wrap up in one video, so there will likely be lots more.

I've realised that screens are not the problem for kids - it's the distraction of online ads and algorithms and the mindless nature of social media that are making them depressed and anxious.
It's ironic that you should have to go to my story shop to download material for offline reading, but it's the grown-ups that do the downloading for their kids, and in doing so keep them safe from internet harm

I’m designing the cover for book three of generation moon at the same time as book 2 so I can use the images for promotion on the final pages of the book and on the back cover.
When I put them together side by side, the colour of book two didn’t work, so I have changed it, adding a hint of green as a nod to the Aurora. I think it separates the titles but also keeps them looking similar for a trilogy branding. What do you think?
