Welcome to our channel dedicated to a Hawaiian off-grid project that started in 2019. Leaving the cold of Minnesota each year to spend the winter building this small home in the woods in the Puna district of Hawaii's Big Island. With a small budget and no experience building homes, we're turning this 3 acre plot of raw forest into a tropical, self-sufficient homestead. I've pounded every nail and hauled every board down the winding 300ft path, and having an absolute blast doing it. This is truly a dream come true watching this project come to life.
