Rolonda’s name, face, and distinctive voice, are known by audiences everywhere, thanks to her many Emmy Award-winning works in television, film, radio, stage, podcasts, and her award-winning romance suspense novel, Destiny Lingers, endorsed by Dr. Maya Angelou.
Most know Ro by one name, Rolonda, under which she launched her internationally-syndicated talk show, produced by King World and her Watts Works Productions, (1994-1998). Before that, Rolonda anchored and investigated news for WFMY-TV, WNBC-TV, WABC-TV, Inside Edition & LifetimeTV’s Attitudes.
Today, Ro is the Announcer & Promo Voice for the Sherri talk show, Rolonda remains a leading brand and household name in Daytime TV. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Emmys) just inducted Rolonda into the prestigious Silver Circle for her 40 year contribution to Daytime TV.
Rolonda also stars as Lucille Williams in the new sitcom, Mind Your Business, on BounceTV & recurs in Survival of the Thickest on Netflix.
