Sub Goal: 3,000 (Before I turn 77 years old ð)
Hey guys, how's it going? It's Trieyx here and welcome to my channel! I'm just an idiot and a geek that is doing what he loves, which is to make people smile and laugh. I mostly do gaming content on Genshin Impact and Kingdom Hearts. I post a lot of meme shorts on both Genshin and Kingdom Hearts. Some other content that I do occasionally are Honkai Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Wuthering Waves, Final Fantasy 14, The Legend of Zelda, Persona, and Ys. Anyways, thanks for reading this and if you decide to watch my videos, I hope I made you laugh with my lame and cringy humor! ð
Trieyx
Merry Christmas everyone! ðð Enjoy today with your family and friends. ð ðĪķ I hope you all get the presents that you wanted this year! ðð

Hey guys, I apologize for the lack of videos this past week and a half. The video that I uploaded today took FOREVER to edit. I put a lot of edits in my finale of my Kingdom Hearts Dark Road Lets Watch and I'm not sure why because I told myself not to do this. Maybe subconsciously I wanted the video to be the best it could be and I kind of felt that because once I started editing, I couldn't stop. Not to mention that I had a lot of fun editing that video. I also apologize for the lack of Genshin videos lately. I was kind of prioritizing finishing my Kingdom Hearts Dark Road Lets Watch first because I wanted to stop having to avoid spoilers. That and also because since my Kingdom Hearts Dark Road Lets Watches took so much time to edit, I barely had time to edit my Genshin videos. Editing a Genshin video takes a while as well and I could only handle one series at a time.
If you guys are afraid that I'm going to stop doing Genshin content, don't worry about it, I have a bunch of video ideas regarding some topics I want to talk about in Genshin that I think you guys might find interesting. I also have my entire Sumeru Archon quest playthrough that I still have to upload. I'm not sure if you guys still care about that though since it's been a few months since the ending of the Sumeru quest dropped. I'll probably still upload it anyway because I had a lot of fun and dumb reactions when going through the story.
That being said now that I am finally done with my Kingdom Hearts Dark Road Lets Watch, my main priority now is to get out my Sumeru playthrough on Genshin, so expect more of that in the next coming weeks. It feels great to know that now I have a little more wiggle room when it comes to the time I have to edit videos. I'm not going to lie though, I'm probably still going to struggle a bit when it comes to going back to a consistent schedule. Once I build a rhythm though, everything should be smooth sailing from then point on. I'm not sure how long that's going to take, but I'll figure it out. There's so much more I want to say, but I'm going to end it here because I don't want to ramble on any longer. That and also because y'all don't have the time to sit and read all this. You guys all have lives to live whereas I sit in my room all day editing and recording videos like a lunatic. ð
If you guys want, feel free to check out the finale of my Kingdom Hearts Dark Road Lets Watch. It would mean the world to me if you did. However I will never force you guys to do something you don't want to do so only do so because you want to or because your a fan of Kingdom Hearts, not because I told you too. Anyways thank you guys so much for reading and for all of your support now and in the future. Hope you enjoy the video and I'll see you guys later! ð

Hey guys, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays so far! I know I'm kind of late, but my dumbass forgot to write a post. ððĪĶââïļ Anyways getting to the real point of this post, I hope you all have a Happy New Year! ðĨģ May all your wishes, dreams, ambitions, desires, etc... come true this year. I say this every year, but I feel like this year is going to be the year for me. 2022 was an okay year for me to be honest. In 2021 I had a chip on my shoulder and something to prove and in 2022, even though l had the same mindset, I was a little more laid back for some reason. I more so felt this way towards the end of the year, around the time I started to post YouTube shorts. Seeing my shorts do so much better than my actual video was actually kind of demoralizing. I know I should be happy, but it's kind of hard to when you put so many hours into one video and it does horribly whereas a short that could take me as short as (pun intended ðĪŠ) an hour to make do so much better. It kind of made me not want to record or make long form videos anymore because why spend so much time working on one video, when I could use that time and make 2 shorts that would do better? This was the main reason why there were less videos and more shorts the last couple of months and why I've been so inconsistent and I would like to apologize for that.
There were many times this year where I kind of question whether there was something wrong with my content or myself when it comes to my videos not doing well. I thought that maybe my content was doo doo because no one watched or I thought that maybe I'm not as funny or entertaining as I think I am. However, one of the positive things that posting YouTube shorts have done for me is eliminating my thoughts of doubt. The reason being is that, if my content was doo doo or if I wasn't somewhat funny and entertaining, my shorts would have done horribly as well, but they didn't. People actually watched and liked my shorts, some of them being edits and some of them of me being stupid/informative on camera. It made me realize that there are actually people who want to watch my content, it's just that they have never seen my video in their recommended or feed, so they don't know I exist. It also made me realize how garbage the YouTube algorithm is when it comes to recommending me videos. I started to pay more attention to analytics this year and my god, YouTube does not like me at all because they actually do not show my video to anyone at all. When they do show my videos, it would be in the algorithm for at most an hour or two before they throw it into the void, never to be seen again. If you want to see an example of that, check out my YouTube short that I uploaded today? or yesterday? I don't know when you guys are reading this. ðĪĢ I don't know why YouTube does this, maybe they don't like me or something I don't know. However it's not just me, a lot of other content creators have experience problems with the YouTube algorithm lately.
One of the biggest factors when it comes to succeeding on YouTube is luck and even though I'm lucky in gacha games, I'm not really lucky in real life and it shows. So essentially, I'm being screwed over by the YouTube algorithm and there is nothing I can do about it. I'm not sure whether or not I'll ever consistently get into the YouTube algorithm, but I'm not going to let that stop me from making videos that you guys enjoy or find funny/entertaining. In 2023, my goal is to get back to where I was in 2021 in YouTube and both physically and mentally in real life and then go beyond that. So expect more and better videos/shorts this year. Anyways I'm going to stop rambling, I could literally write a couple of more paragraphs about random nonsense, but you guys don't have the time for that. Honestly, college has ruined me because now I'm so good at writing filler and I literally can't stop. ð Thank you guys so much for reading and for all your support in 2022 and for your future support in 2023 and beyond. Happy New Years everyone! ð

ðĻ Skip to the ð for the main point of this post. ð ðĻ
Hey guys as you noticed, the last few weeks I've been posting a lot of YouTube shorts and some weeks I've posted more shorts than videos. I just want to say I'm sorry for the lack of normal videos. The reason why is because I've been experimenting on how shorts work and how well they do on my channel. As you guys can tell my shorts tend to do better than my actual videos. I'm not going to lie, it's kind of soul crushing to see that my normal videos that I put a lot of time and effort as well as my heart and soul into editing, do worse than my shorts. However on the other hand, it's nice to see my shorts do well. A lot of my shorts are actually edits that I put in my normal videos or just parts of my normal video that I put together into a short video. So if any of my shorts interest you, just know that there is a full video about the same topic as the short that you just watch on my channel somewhere. Usually I leave a link to the video as an end screen once the video is over, but sometimes it doesn't pop up.
Anyways going back to what I was saying before, my YouTube shorts tend to do better than my actual videos. The reason why is because the YouTube algorithm for YouTube shorts is better than it is for normal videos. When I post a normal video on my channel, YouTube's algorithm does not show it to anyone so my video just dies immediately after it's posted. However when I post a YouTube short, YouTube actually shows it to people, usually for about an hour or two, before they kill it. ðĪĢ YouTube shorts is something that just came out recently and YouTube probably still hasn't figured out how they want the algorithm to be yet (a.k.a They haven't messed it up yet. ð) That and also, YouTube is really trying to push YouTube shorts on their platform and are trying to make it the next big thing. One of the best ways to entice people to make shorts is to make it so their videos actually get recommended to people. What that means is that, more people will be able to see and watch your video, which means more views, channel growth, etc... YouTube shorts is also designed specifically for smaller channels to get more exposure and ultimately get bigger because like I said before they want to entice people to post YouTube shorts and they also want some newer content creators to get bigger on their platform.
My current goal on YouTube right now is to grow my channel and to get more exposure and YouTube shorts is allowing me to do that. I've noticed over the past few weeks, my sub count grew more than it did than the entirety of last month. The only downside to YouTube shorts is that I don't make any money off of it... for now. Not that I care about the money anyway. I do YouTube because I love doing it, entertaining you guys, and just creating things. That and also, I don't make much off of YouTube anyways. With that being said, YouTube announced that starting early next year, content creators will be able to start making money off of YouTube shorts. That just shows how serious YouTube is trying to push YouTube shorts and to try to compete with TikTok and potentially steal their content creators away from them. Right now not many people upload YouTube shorts. The reason why is because nobody realizes how good the algorithm is for YouTube shorts and how much it could benefit their channel. Also like I said before, you don't make any money off of YouTube shorts and most people don't want to make a video and not get paid for it. With how little people are posting YouTube shorts, it's one of the reasons why the algorithm is so good, because there is less competition. However once people realize how good and how much easier making YouTube shorts are and the fact that starting next year you can start making money off of them, a LOT more people will start posting YouTube shorts. Once more people start posting YouTube shorts, chances are my shorts will start getting less views because there will be more videos for YouTube to recommend. Which is why I decided to get into YouTube shorts now, to get ahead of the game. I want to establish myself into the YouTube shorts algorithm and to grow as much as I can before more people start making YouTube shorts. That way once more people start making YouTube shorts, my shorts will still hopefully get recommended instead of just fading into obscurity.
At first I was hesitant on YouTube shorts because you don't make any money and TikTok was already a thing, so I thought it would be a failed experiment by YouTube. However once I saw that YouTube was going to allow people to monetize their shorts starting next year, I became intrigued. So I decided to post my first YouTube shorts, which was the Kingdom Hearts one (Xehanort is literally Disney's version of Pain). At first the video got like 7 views in like 2 days and I thought that just like the YouTube algorithm, the YouTube shorts algorithm was biased and dumb as well. However the next day, that video started to hit the algorithm and gained like 300-400 views, which is a lot for my standards. After that I decided to post some more YouTube shorts and almost all of them hit triple digit views in a few hours (My Fischl video hit 2.7k views in the first 3-4 hours! ðĪŊ), which almost never happens for my normal videos. It was then that I realized that YouTube shorts is it. I then watched a video of Mr. Beast talking about how YouTube shorts is going to be a game changer for YouTube about 2 days ago and I thought it was crazy that he and I were on the same page and are ahead of the game. Mr. Beast is connoisseur when it comes to YouTube whereas I have no idea what I'm doing on YouTube, so for a second, I felt what it was like to be big brained. ð§ The fact that Mr. Beast thinks that YouTube shorts is going to be the next big thing, solidified my resolve to continue posting YouTube shorts.
Another reason why I like YouTube shorts is because it's a lot quicker to make than a normal video. I edit my videos more than the average person, so each of my videos take about 4-7 hours to edit and sometimes even longer. That doesn't include making the thumbnail, titling, writing the description, tagging, etc... So yeah it takes me a while to edit my videos, which is why a lot of the times I'm behind on videos. However with YouTube shorts, it usually takes me like 2-3 hours to fully finish the video, which is significantly shorter than my normal videos. So posting YouTube shorts not only benefits my channel, but it also allows me to somewhat stay on schedule.
ð That leaves me to the main point of this post (I'm sorry it took so long, I tend to ramble a lot when talking and typing... ðĪĶââ) After the last few weeks of experimenting with YouTube shorts, I decided that I will be permanently adding YouTube shorts into my weekly schedule. My prior schedule use to be normal video uploads on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. However after implementing YouTube shorts, my new upload schedule will be:
Sunday: YouTube Short (12 PM EST/ 9 AM PST)
Monday: YouTube Short (12 PM EST/ 9 AM PST)
Tuesday: Off day
Wednesday: Kingdom Hearts Lets Play (12 PM EST/ 9 AM PST)
YouTube short about the video I posted on that day (1 PM EST/ 10 AM PST) *If I have time to spare*
Thursday: Off day
Friday: Random video (12 PM EST/ 9 AM PST)
YouTube short about the video I posted on that day (1 PM EST/ 10 AM PST) *If I have time to spare*
Saturday: Genshin Impact (12 PM EST/ 9 AM PST)
YouTube short about the video I posted on that day (1 PM EST/ 10 AM PST) *If I have time to spare*
I'm still not sure what videos I plan to upload on Fridays as I still haven't found a third staple on my channel that I want to do every week. It will most likely be Kingdom Hearts Missing Link when that comes out, but for now it's going to be whatever video I feel like uploading that week. As for Wednesdays, it will for the most part, always be Kingdom Hearts related. Same thing with Saturday, it should be mostly Genshin Impact related. In terms of my YouTube Shorts, they should be for the most part Kingdom Hearts/Genshin Impact related. Sometimes I will upload shorts on other things, but for the most part it will be those 2 games.
As you guys noticed, I have decided to go back to 3 normal videos a week and instead decided to replace that one normal video with a YouTube short. Even though I am doing one less normal video a week, technically speaking, you're getting more uploads/videos. This upload schedule should be a lot easier to maintain, but I'm human at the end of the day, so chances are there will be weeks where I will miss a video or I'll replace a normal video with a short or something because I'm behind on videos. If for some reason I can't maintain this schedule, I'll let you guys know. Also if you guys didn't know, I usually post a tweet the day I upload a normal video on Twitter to advertise my video. However since I'm posting a YouTube short the same day I upload a normal video, I decided that I will no longer post videos on Twitter anymore. Like I said before I only did that to advertise my videos, but I realized that that doesn't really work. Most people on Twitter don't really click on the link to watch my videos, so it's kind of pointless at least for me anyway, which is why I decided to stop doing it. Making tweets usually take a while, so it'll save me some time.
ðĻ The rest of this post is in the comments because YouTube is dumb. ðĪĶââïļ ðĻ

Hey guys, I just want to let you guys know that I'll be taking an impromptu week off to catch up on editing/recording videos. This message is kind of late, but the reason why I didn't let you guys know sooner is because I thought I would be able to catch up. That one week where I uploaded my last Granblue Fantasy video that was 2 hours long really threw me off schedule. Instead of uploading 2 videos like I did last week to catch up, I thought it would be best to take this week off and then next week I can go back to the usual 4 videos a week. I already have some videos edited; I just haven't gotten the time to make the thumbnails and upload, title, write the description, and all the other usual YouTube nonsense. ð I have some fun videos lined up for next week, so I hope you look forward to them! Thank you guys so much for understanding and I'll see you next week. ðð

Hey guys I just want to let you know that I'm going to be taking next week off, so there won't be any videos next week. It's always tough for me to take time off since I love making videos for you guys and we've sort of been on a roll lately, not to mention that the YouTube algorithm hates it when you take time off. However, starting this year I decided to take scheduled time off every so often (probably every 6 months). The reason being is that prior to this year, I barely took anytime off and I would get so burned out on making videos that it stopped being fun and started feeling like a drag and I never want to feel that way about making content ever again. That and also, life is short, so I want to spend as much time as I can doing other things I love besides making content. Recently I've been sort of behind schedule, as you can see with yesterday's video being a little late and some weeks where I just upload 3 videos to try to catch up. Taking next week off allows me to get caught up on everything and I have already recorded all the videos for the week I am coming back, so we're all good there.
Taking time off also helps me keep me rejuvenated and refresh so I can create the best possible content I can for you guys because you guys deserve the best. Which leads me to my next point, I just want to thank all of you guys for all your support lately for everything. You guys watching my videos, liking, commenting, etc... really means a lot to me and it helps motivate me to continue making content. We are also so close to hitting 1,200 subscribers and it still boggles my mind that there are a thousand of you who enjoy my content enough to subscribe. I wouldn't be here without you guys and I want to remind you every so often that *In Vegeta's voice* you are the best because you truly are.
Even with the slow change of content, you guys are still watching and it makes me really happy to know that you guys are liking the newer content like FFXIV, Genshin story reactions, etc... Speaking of newer content, I've been wanting to do this for a while now, so I'm going to add a poll in this post to see what type of content you guys watch on my channel. If you could, please pick out an answer in the poll. This poll is going to be really helpful for me in determining what type of content I should do more of in the future. If you could also comment on what specific content you watch from the game you picked, that would be really helpful as well (For example, for Kingdom Hearts you can say lets play or discussion video).
There is so much more I want to say and I could keep rambling on and on, but I know you guys don't got the time for that so I'm going to end it here. I just want to say thank you again for all of your support for the last few years, it means a lot to me and I will never take it for granted. Make sure to take breaks every so often too! Your physical and mental health matters! ðŠ Thank you guys so much for reading, answering, and for understanding and I'll see you guys next next week! ð
â What type of content do you watch on my channel? â (If you could answer as well as comment, that would be really awesome. This is going to be helpful in determining what type of content I should do more of in the future.)

Hey guys, I just want to let you know that I will be taking a short break this week. I know that I took a break at the end of November, but last month I kind of went overboard since December is the best month in terms of revenue and now I'm exhausted. That and also because the last few "breaks" that I took weren't actually breaks. During my time off in November as well as that one break I took in June/July, I basically worked on background stuff for YouTube, which at the end of the day is still work and I didn't have anytime to just sit back and relax. The last time I really took a break was around February, which was almost a year ago and it's kind of crazy to think about. This time however, will be different. Besides recording videos for the week I come back and responding to comments, I will not be doing anything YouTube related at all. I'm going to force myself to take a break and all I'm going to do is play video games, go to the gym, and to just do some chores that I've been putting off for a while now. I also hope I can fix my sleep schedule as well, but we'll see about that. ðĪŠ This is something that I feel like I needed for a very long time and once I get back, I should be more than refreshed and ready to make some fun and awesome content for you all to watch. Thank you guys so much for understanding and for all your support. It's never easy for me to take a break because I really enjoy making content for you guys, but if I don't take a break now then I'm probably going to the insane asylum very soon. What's funny is that the moment I decided to take a break, the first thing I thought of was to finish working on my intro and some other YouTube stuff. I think I might have a problem... ð But anyways thank you guys so much for reading this, definitely make sure that you guys take care of yourselves physically and mentally and also make sure to take a break every so often like what I'm trying to do because you deserve it. That being said, I'm out, see you guys next week! ððđ

Hey guys, ð Happy New Year! ð I hope you are all enjoying today with your family and friends. I also hope that this year will be an even better year for you. I can't believe that 2021 is already over, it feels like it was just yesterday that 2021 first started and now it's 2022. 2021 has been a really hectic year for me, but also a very good one. As you guys know my dad passed at the very beginning of last year and it's been exactly one year from today where I was able to be with him in person before he was admitted to the hospital. It's been tough and the start of last year was definitely a blur, but once everything settle down, the rest of the year went by pretty fast. At the beginning of last year, I said that 2021 was going to be my year because if you guys didn't know last year is the year of the Ox, which is my zodiac, and for the most part I was able to accomplish a lot. I worked my ass off on YouTube as well as life in general and it definitely paid off. Last year we have gained more viewers and subscribers than any other year and not only that, but I am finally a YouTube partner again! That feat is something I could never accomplish without you guys. Any and all accomplishments I made last year on YouTube was because of you guys and I can't thank you enough for all the support you guys have given me this past year and the previous 4 years. All I did was provide the doo doo water content that you guys somehow liked whereas you guys were the ones who did all the heavy lifting. You guys are the real MVP and I just want you to know that, so thank you. I have definitely improved as a content creator last year, but there is still so much to work on and this year, I'm going to be even better. I want you all to hold me to a higher standard because high quality videos is what you guys deserve and I'm going to try my best to deliver that to you as well as videos you want to watch. Besides YouTube, there are some other New Year resolutions that I have. Some of them are to fix my sleep schedule permanently (which has been really bad for a long time and got even worse in December), working out 5 times a week instead of 3 times, and to just overall be a better person than I was yesterday. Next year, I want come back to this post and see if I was able to accomplish what I set out for this year. Hopefully I was able to speak those resolutions into existence. If you guys have your own New Year resolution feel free to leave a comment down below, I'm curious to know what they are. Anyways I don't want to keep rambling on too long, so I'll end it here. Again, I hope you all have a Happy New Years and I hope this year will be a better year for everyone and that this year will be the year for you and I. Also Dad if you're reading this, Happy New Year and I miss you; I'll make you even prouder this year for sure! Thank you guys so much for reading and for all your support and I'll see you guys later! ðĨģ

Hey guys! Today's video is my 1,000th video on YouTube! ðĨģ It's kind of surreal to know that I created 1,000 videos! Well actually, I probably passed that milestone a while ago since there were a few videos where I either deleted them off YouTube or I just plain ol' scrapped. Technically speaking though, this is the 1,000th video I uploaded on YouTube. I've been doing YouTube for 5 and a half years now which means that I basically uploaded about 200 videos per year and that's kind of insane to me. I honestly don't know how I was able to do it since I can barely keep up with my 4 weekly videos. I guess I was having so much fun that I didn't realize how much time and work I put into this. It was definitely a lot a work for sure, but at the same time making 1,000 videos kind of felt, well... easy. Not only did I reach this milestone because I enjoy doing YouTube, but you guys were also one of my main motivators in continuing to make videos. I just want to say thank you guys so much for all the support you have shown me through the years and your continued support into the future. Also I hope you guys liked the Light Yagami "I'll take this potato chip and eat it" skit and the fact that this video was just that and that the intro and outro was longer than the video itself. I thought it would be a funny bit for a video and that it would be perfect for my 1,000th video because my 100th video and my usual milestone videos were always a little more serious. Being an idiot (a.k.a Being myself) for my 1,000th video is definitely a change of pace and I really liked it idea, so hopefully you guys enjoyed it as well. Anyways I can keep rambling on and on about this, but I know that you guys don't have time to read any more. You guys have a life to live, unlike me ð. Thank you guys again for your support and here's to another 1,000! ð
P.S I know that what I ate in the video was not a potato chip. I didn't have any chips at home since I'm trying to eat healthy, so all I could find was Chex Mix. I mean I guess you can say that the bread thingy in Chex Mix is technically a chip, so I'm going to count it. ðĪĢðĪ
