My Design Immortal was formed as a project of Shawn Martin in early 2015 and started right away on creating music for their debut album and that March, the results were solid with the release of their debut album, Broken.

In April 2017, they released their second album - an album of covers of songs titled Take Cover.

With fresh ideas, they released their third album, an all original story driven experience, Of Failure and Fear.

Having a solid plan and understanding of their own music, the band followed up with their newest mastermind, Paper Thin.

In May 2023, they released their next story, Bridges Burned.

Later in 2023, the group embarked on revamping and with that they wanted a fresh start. Martin wanted to bring more meaning into the group in the form of lyrics. Entering a new era with a singer for the first time ever, created a solid hard rock album, released in August 2024, Resurgence.
