REALITY CHECK 📸 Your friends don’t care if your hair isn’t perfect, if you’ve gained a little weight, or if your outfit isn’t just right. They care about you.

They want photos with you—because one day, you’ll both wish you had more.

You won’t look back and think about your hair, your weight, or what you were wearing. You’ll just be grateful you have proof of the moments that mattered.
The people you love want you in their memories.

So don’t wait—be *in* the photo. - Christine 💋

POSING ≠ PERFECTION 📸 There’s a lot of misconception when it comes to posing for photos, so I thought I’d take a moment to clear things up.

Posing is powerful. It’s how you take up space, express yourself, and capture the essence of who you are.

But here’s the thing—posing isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s not about fitting yourself into a rigid standard of beauty or conveying the most “perfect” version of yourself.

Posing is a tool to help you express your most authentic self in a way that makes you feel confident, comfortable and proud.

We aren’t our photos. Photos are static images that capture a moment in time. We are living, breathing, moving human beings that operate on a three dimensional plane. Photos are static, two dimensional stills that freeze a moment in time.

Some photos will turn out exactly as you pictured. Others? Not so much. Maybe your hair decided to do its own thing. Maybe your smile felt better than it looked. Maybe the lighting wasn’t quite right.

But none of that makes a photo *bad.*
And most importantly, none of that makes you any less worthy of being in it.

The best photos aren’t about nailing the perfect pose. They’re about capturing you as you are in a moment that will never happen the same way again.

So pose with confidence. Play with movement. Utilize the tools I share on this page. But don’t stress about being “perfect.”

You’re already enough. Your photos are already enough. - Christine 💋

COUPLES POSING: DO’S and DON’TS 📸 My Couples Posing Guide is on sale for $27 through Monday, 2/17. Get it HERE: howtoposeforphotos.com/couples-posing-guide-checko…

Small adjustments can make a huge difference in the way you and your partner show up for photos! Let’s break it down…

❌ Positioning one partner significantly closer to the camera makes them the focus of the photo.
✅ Dipping toward the camera enables both faces to be visible and harmoniously proportioned.

❌ Gazing into your partner’s eyes is a wonderful way to show your affection, but it doesn’t translate in photos.
✅ Keep eyes relaxed and look at your partner’s lips or ear.

❌ Don’t pucker your lips while doing a kissing photo.
✅ Touch your noses together to capture the moment right before a kiss.

❌ Don’t cover your partner’s face with your hands.
✅ Keep your fingers together and place them under their face.

Posing for photos doesn’t have to be difficult! Get my Couples Posing Guide HERE: howtoposeforphotos.com/couples-posing-guide-checko…

IT’S NOT MAGIC, IT’S POSING 📸 Small adjustments can make a HUGE difference in the way you show up in front of the camera. Let’s break down some examples for posing in photos with a large Christmas tree.

Get my “101 Ways To Pose” Ebook HERE ➡️ howtoposeforphotos.com/

❌ While interacting with my setting is ideal, the back of my hand is covering my face and distracts from the flow of the image.
❌ My arm is closest to the camera, which makes it look disproportionately large.
✅ Opening my shoulders toward the camera takes the emphasis off of my arm and better shows off the lines of my body.
✅ The placement of my hand accents my face instead of covering it.

POSING DOESN’T HAVE TO BE DIFFICULT ⚠️ My “101 Ways to Pose” ebook is on sale for only $17 for a limited time!

DO’S AND DON’TS: LADYLIKE POSES 📸 Posing for photos doesn’t have to be difficult! In fact, small adjustments can make a HUGE difference in the way you show up in front of the camera.

DON’T MISS OUT ⚠️ My Posing Guide Mega Bundle is currently on sale through 11/25! Get it HERE: howtoposeforphotos.com/posing-guide-mega-bundle

Let’s break it down…

❌ The chandelier is coming out of my head which is distracting.
❌ Turning my feet outward looks awkward & breaks the lines of my legs.
❌ My hands are tense & the symmetrical placement of my elbows and hands add additional width to the top half of my body.
✅ Crossing one leg creates a narrowing point at my knees & gives the illusion of lengthened legs.
✅ My hands are relaxed & staggered, which adds visual interest to the top half of my body without overwhelming the pose.

Let’s break it down…

❌ Turning 90 degrees from the camera makes my body appear boxy
❌ The camera angle is too high & my upper body appears disproportionately large.
❌ The placement of my legs is too broad.
✅ Positioning my body at a slight angle better suits the lines of my body and dress.
✅ Placing my weight on one leg, & creating shape with the other gives my pose a sense of movement and creates a leading line that elongates my frame.
