Apologies as I messed up with the Xonar sound card settings.

If you watched the THD+N and frequency response results videos (3) between 26th January and 5th February, I apologise for my setup mistake.
The sound card was using ALT instead of Line-in in the Line-in socket. I forgot to change the socket setting back to Line-in after I ran the loopback tests. I have removed the 3 effected videos.
Now the tests are run with Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.

I use a Tomahawk 450B mainboard in my PC (I say PC because it is Windows OS based, else I'd say computer).
Connecting a 3/8th to 3/8th jack cable between the speaker out and line input I made a loopback measurement using ARTA. Image below.
The bBFS is -4.5db as the onboard sound only outputs 0900mV RMS and minimum for ARTA calibration is 1000mV RMS. Still the spectrum analyser output is not bad.

The frequency response is usable also. It has a little wobble at the higher frequencies. Two images below.

Sometimes I get frustrated with myself. I setup and captured the image below. Check out the THD.
My frustration comes as for the life of me I cant remember how I did it. I've been swapping out many cables and recalibrating ARTA so many times, I've broken me.

I think I have this correct now. I'm using ASIO drivers in ARTA after swapping out my 13 year old power supply for a new 80+ Gold PSU.
This is a 1kHz fundamental sine wave in loopback configuration (Speaker out to Aux input) of my sound card.
Sound blaster AE-9 which advertises -129db noise floor.
So far I'm very impressed, the AE-9 sounds very very good.
