We develop dryfire training products. Project MARS stands for Marksmanship Augmented Reality System. We build products that help facilitate responsible firearm ownership, fundamentals, and safety by utilizing dryfire training.

‪@MantisX‬ released the TitanX, a new dryfire training pistol (looks like a competitor to the Sirt 110). I just ordered one (paid with my own money) and will review it as soon as it arrives.

I don't have any skin in the game outside of the fact that we build dryfire training software (our apps should be compatible with both products) and as such I often get questions about new products like this one.

This looks better than the SIRT but I'll do a cross compare once I have both in hand.

My first glance impressions: It integrates with the mantis app, it's USB rechargeable, it's cheaper than the Sirt, the mag release is ambi for left handed folks, the resetting trigger looks better (we'll see in person), it's grip is gen 5 patterned, and it supports optics cuts out of box (i litterally have a red dot hot glued to my SIRT110 right now). I for one am pretty excited and can't wait until mine arrives.

You may have noticed some changes around the channel. We're rebranding to focus in on our dryfire apps moving forward. While we still have some product reviews in the pipeline, we're going to be scaling back review content and focusing more on content that promotes firearms safety, learning the fundamentals, and competition shooting sports. We're excited for what the future holds!

Thoughts on the OSight X? ‪@OsightWorld‬ sent one to us for review. As always we don't accept direct compensation for reviews in order to stay unbiased, although we do have an affiliate link relationship and the optic was provided for free.

I have been really pleasantly surprised by the feature set, although I haven't taken it out yet. OSight is really innovative here. They're having a big sale on these soon, so I wanted to get the initial review out fast so you guys can make an informed decision on the feature set, although I can't yet speak on longevity.

I'll release a quick overview tomorrow, there isn't quite anything like this on the market, so I'm excited to deep dive into it.

If it holds zero it'll be a contender for competition. I plan to really beat on this thing in open gym later this month and that's where we'll see how she holds up.

I think whatever your bias is, set it aside when looking at this one. Otherwise you might miss out on the next big thing.

Hearing the news about Charlie Kirk being murdered today brought this passage really heavy on my heart.

"... they were killed by the sword... the world was not worthy of them...These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect. Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 11:37-40, 12:1-2

I honestly didn't know very much about Charlie Kirk other than his reputation for telling the truth boldly and that he is a brother in Christ.

The fact of the matter with these atrocities, whether it be close to home, or our brothers and sisters in Christ being persecuted on the other side of the world (where situations like this one are a daily occurrence), our response is still the same. This world was not worthy of them, they ran their race well, and they are still cheering us on.

So in light of that we need to run with endurance the race set before us, living each day for Christ, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross. Charlie is in the presence of His Savior, with the fullness of joy. he is actively cheering on all of the saints to continue running the race well. Our response is to continue modeling Christ in our conduct daily. Let's live well until the day we are all reunited.
