Bubba will be put down very shortly tonight.

Unfortunately, an ultrasound discovered incredibly aggressive late stage kidney cancer. Nothing anyone can do, nothing anyone could've done either. It just happens sometimes.

Thank you all for your kind wishes. I'll be sure to let Bubba know how much he is loved, by myself and all of you, before he drifts to sleep.

Everyone keep Bubba in your thoughts and prayers tonight and send every BIT of positive energy you have towards him, all night tonight.

He isn't doing well. It's possible he doesn't have long.

I will be taking him to the emergency 24 hour vet tonight, as I couldn't get him into a single normal vet in the area until July, and he can't wait that long.

Loss of appetite the last 2 weeks. Barely eating anything. Occasionally will have a day where he eats a medium amount, still less than normal but he eats a decent bit, but for the most part barely anything. Until finally today he hasn't eaten anything at all, other than a few licks of cat milk with nutrients I got him.

He is also drinking more water than usual. This could be a bad symptom, or it could just be because he isn't eating his usual 3 cans of wet food per day anymore, thus he needs increased water elsewhere.

Decreased energy, sleeping more often.

All of these symptoms make kidney disease or failure possible, which is deadly and will be fatal.

However, a few good points:

1.) His eyes have been watering a lot the past few days. He generally has "weepy" looking eyes, watering a lot. This is apparently a symptom of a UTI, along with the other symptoms, which is obviously much MUCH more manageable

2.) He doesn't seem to be in pain. Cats are good at hiding things, but still, he isn't meowing or moaning. That's good.

3.) He's only 8 or 9 years old. Not ultra old, although not young either.

Either way, please keep him in any thoughts and prayers all night tonight in particular, as he will be going to the emergency vet and getting tests done to find out what's wrong. He will either be much better tonight and continue being my boobaboy, or I may have to make arrangements for him tonight. I was not prepared for this mentally. I am not doing okay, but I'm doing my best to stay strong to get Bubba through this. I cannot fall apart, not yet.

I GOT THE JOB!

Starting August 22nd, just 13 days from now, I'll be starting work as an IT Support Engineer!

Streaming as a job will finally be coming to an end, and it can go back to being a hobby.

And TRUST ME, that means you'll be getting MORE streams, not less. I have so many plans for content I couldn't spend the time working on because I needed the money. But that changes soon.

Things are about to get amazing. It's time for me to start my career and start trying new things with my channels as well!

Bubba is doing MUCH better today, and 2 things just happened that are AMAZING for him.

So for the past 2 days, the only food he's been willing to eat is this special food I bought that is basically just plain shredded chicken breast. It's a limited ingredient diet meant for cats that are sick.

Now he would eat this thank God, but this food isn't meant to be the only food they eat. It doesn't have all the nutrients a cat needs, but it's better than nothing.

For 2 days, I tried to give him real cat food, for 2 days he flat out refused to take a single bite, regardless of flavor.

Well, Bubba has been acting better today. He's been sleeping like normal instead of pacing around and meowing a lot. Also seems happier and more energetic when he IS up and about.

But then, a few minutes ago, he went into his litter box. He took the first SOLID poop he's had in DAYS.

Immediately after leaving the litter box, he comes up to me and starts meowing. Not an uncomfortable meow, but a HUNGRY one.

I go and make him a can of cat food, assuming he will do what he always does, which is smell it and walk away.

I put it down, he basically claws my fucking fingers off as I put it down, and he STARTS EATING IT.

And he KEEPS eating it, one entire can of cat food in a single sitting, even licking the bowl clean.

He's FINALLY gotten all the vitamins and nutrients he needs back into his body, and RIGHT AFTER taking a solid normal shit!

And now that he's done eating, he ran around a bit, cleaned himself, and is laying down for a nap. Just like normal.

I want to thank everyone in the stream last night who helped support me with Bubba. He is finally TRULY getting better, and I can't even begin to describe the amount of stress that's been lifted off of me.

Another stream tonight, more pb attempts, and this time with 1 less burden to worry about! Be there!
