*How To Tone Up*
Two things you absolutely need if you’re goal is to tone up/ build muscle...
1. At a minimum, .7 grams of protein per pound of body weight per day
Example: 150 lbs x .7 g protein = 105 grams per day
2. More heavy lifting (At least 3x’s per week) and a lot less cardio. 20-30 minutes of walking on an incline after strength training is sufficient.
Cardio will get you started and help you lose a few lbs., but it will NOT help you build sufficient muscle in the long term.
cardio > strength training = plateau
