All Share My JOY is a Christian channel on praising, praying and trusting God.
Simply put, Biblical joy is choosing to respond to external circumstances with inner contentment and satisfaction, because we know that God will use these experiences to accomplish His work in and through our lives and knowing He is in control of all the details of our life.
Happiness is temporary:
Happiness doesn't bring joy, and joy isn't the byproduct of happiness. Joy is something grander than happiness. Joy is a fruit of the Spirit, and when we find joy it's infused with comfort and wrapped in peace.
Joy is rooted in faith.
The very joy of the Son of God himself poured into our souls. And he says it twice so that we don't miss it. First, to his disciples, “These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full” John 15:11
Biblical joy is more than a happy feeling. Joy is rooted in faith from the choice to trust that God will fulfill his promises.
