Elephant Moon is the solo project of Anders Dal, blending melancholic indie-folk with intimate, atmospheric songwriting. His debut single Where Were You stretched out over 5:39 minutes, layering lap steel and analogue synth into a slow, dreamlike haze, looking both backward and forward. The follow-up Good Medicine (out 23 Sept 2025) is its opposite: a concise 2:37 focused on the present, with fingerpicked acoustic guitar and voice recorded live in one take, and haunting interwoven violins by Barbara Bartz and bass by David Villanuevo overdubbed later. Together, the two singles show Elephant Moon’s range—moving between expansive soundscapes and stripped-back intensity.
