This Belgian blue electric polytension locomotive class 150 ( 15) build in 1962 , was in fact the one and only " Etoile du Nord" , for she could tract trough the North of France (25 kV AC) , Belgium ( 3 kV DC ) and the Netherlands (1,5 kV) the inox -T.E.E. carriages from Paris to Amsterdam
Before this , the "Etoile du Nord" was a luxurious train travelling between Paris , Brussels and Amsterdam . It was originally pulled by steam locomotives ,with Pullman carriages ; later on as one of the first T.E.E's. by a dieseltrain , and finally by French and Belgian polycurrent electric locomotives
