Hartford, Connecticut–based entertainer King X, originally from the community of Whitfield Town in Kingston, Jamaica, is an artist whose name and sound are rooted in personal experience and growth.
The name King X wasn’t chosen lightly. It represents his belief that every man is a king — powerful in their own way. Growing up, friends always described him as the “X factor” — the standout presence, whether in school, sports, or with the ladies.
“X represents the unknown. X is unlimited. That’s where the name King X was born,”
— King X
He officially stepped into the music scene in 2007 with his debut single “Road Kill,” produced by Dweetnow Entertainment. Since then, his talent has caught the attention of several respected producers both in Jamaica and overseas, including Dynasty Entertainment, Track Starr, NS Music, Zigman Records, No Landing Music, and Dweetnow Entertainment.
