Kiwi New Wave artist, gamedev, & takoyaki fan. Fans call me "a gear queer."
Mostly known for my time in the Halo scene as composer & scenario/scripts designer, + a producer / session musician for AlyxGMusic & Jafet Meza, and spearheading Odyssey - a deconstruction and documentation of Halo's music production. Five years on (for many reasons), I've decided to slow activities in the Halo scene to return to my music & personal projects again.
I also do some gamedev. Originally before joining the Halo scene, I stepped in the puddle of the ZDoom and Quake mapping communities (both a level designer + composer). Currently, I have a few projects in the oven: an id Tech 4 exploration of my take on space survival horror, a love letter to 3D collectathons from my childhood on 5th-gen consoles, & a VR walking sim.

@BajatomicBlast just posted a cool reel of early CE+ development. The macro-concept of a "authentically upgraded remaster" had to be scrapped and things pivoted into what became the releasing multiplayer-focused CE+, which was also my first involvement with VKMT (mostly from 2021 onwards)

Got to sit in on a tracking session a couple of weeks ago and in a fun turn of events, am now doing some mixing for my coworker's project. Might livestream a little bit tonight for some fun as I use this as a vessel to test drive some of the Universal Audio plugins I picked up, most especially to spend time with the compressors and EQ variety - so I can run some quick mixes to send my coworker when I see him tomorrow.
I'll touch a bit more on some of this for the log so if you don't catch me at the time I stream, some of it will make it's way into that next recap video among some of the other stuff going on. There's potentially a couple of things I'm very excited to be collaborating on, I'll talk on those in the log, too.
