A vflog is a political vlog (video-log) of a citizen verbally flogging a dishonest politician for the purpose of holding them accountable for their actions or positions on various subjects.
A vflog is the video version of a political blog.
This new wave in democracy has been described as a cross-between guerrilla theater and gonzo journalism. Our moto is "Bringing the 1st Amendment into the 21st Century".
Vflogging started in Colorado in 2007, when a group of activists decided to use the Internet's emerging video technology to show people how easy and fun it is to participate in democracy.
Vflog.com will be posting vflogs leading up to the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado Aug. 25-28, 2008.
