Bluegrass Banjo Lessons from Tom Adams.
Now performing with Springfield Exit, Tom is a 3-time recipient of the IBMA's Banjo Player of the Year award.
First gaining national recognition in 1983 working with the legendary Jimmy Martin, he has two Grammy nominations for his work with the neo-traditionalist Johnson Mountain Boys. His album of banjo and fiddle duets with Michael Cleveland, Live at the Ragged Edge, earned IBMA's Instrumental Album of the Year in 2004. Tom is a contributor to the magazine Banjo Newsletter.
Tom has been a banjo instructor at Banjo Camp North, NashCamp Bluegrass Week, Sonny Osborne Banjo Camp, Sore Fingers Bluegrass Week (England), Tennessee Banjo Institute, Camp Bluegrass (Texas), Augusta Bluegrass Week (West Virginia), Toronto Workshop with Banjo Newsletter's Ian Perry, and the Nova Scotia Banjo Camp.
