I accidentally picked up a camera. Things escalated.

TheAccidentalDP is my journey through cinematography, filmmaking and everything that makes a moving image work.

I’ll be talking about movies, cinematography, DP work, cameras, lenses, lighting and filmmaking gear. Breaking down the images that inspire me, testing the tools that create them, and sharing what I learn along the way.

Some films. Some gear. Some questionable decisions.

Welcome to TheAccidentalDP.
