Social Audit Andhra Pradesh
This YouTube channel is managed under the supervision of the State Office of Social Audit Andhra Pradesh. While there are 26 district-level channels, this is the primary channel representing the state.
The channel streams live Gram Sabha-based public hearings and awareness programs related to the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).
As per Section 17 of the MGNREGA Act, 2005, social audits are conducted at the Gram Panchayat level. SSAAT is an autonomous organization established in 2009 and functions under the Department of Rural Development.
Live streaming is coordinated from the state office by SRPs at the field level, under the supervision of DRP and the Social Media Content In-Charge.
