Alaine (Alaine Laughton) is a Jamaican singer-songwriter known for smooth, uplifting reggae and lovers rock. She broke out in the mid-2000s with songs like “No Ordinary Love,” “Rise in Love,” and “Forever More” (with Tarrus Riley), and has since become a staple of contemporary Jamaican music. Beyond recording and touring, she’s also served as a mentor/judge on Jamaica’s talent show Digicel Rising Stars.
