Eagle Update! 🚨
Friends of Big Bear Valley received over 54,000 suggestions in their naming contest which they narrowed down to 30 finalists. Local students got to pick the winning names for the eaglets, and now we can proudly refer to the bigger chick as Sunny and the smaller as Gizmo! 🦅

A huge win for penguin conservation comes out of the South African courts! 🐧
In 2024, scientists warned the penguin population has been declining at about 8% every year and could face extinction within the decade. Now, the court has imposed no-fishing zones around the breeding colonies for the next 10 years!

A turtle was found wrapped in a towel inside a man's pants during a security screening at Newark Liberty International Airport. The turtle was unharmed and turned over to U.S Fish & Wildlife officials - with TSA still currently investigating the matter.
