Amidst the constant barrage of negative news that we face from the moment we wake up to when we go to sleep, our spirits can become drained. Personally, I have found that I need to seek out joy in the simple, yet beautiful things that surround me in order to find my center amidst the turmoil. Whether it's the natural allure of the aspen parkland forest that surrounds my home, the breathtaking beauty of a summer storm, the humbling grandeur of the Rocky Mountains, or the enduring brilliance of wildflowers that persist despite harsh drought, I always find solace in these wondrous sights. And, of course, there's the irresistible cuteness of the little critters that call my farm home, which never fail to bring a smile to my face.
