"Sun-shiny songs thriving on dark themes behind irresistible rhythms."
Track Dogs, featuring two Irishmen, an Englishman, and an American (Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown, and Robbie K. Jones), take their name from New York's subway workers. Formed in Madrid in 2006, their unique sound combines acoustic guitar, bass, trumpet, cajón, banjo, ukulele, and rich four-part harmonies.
Their genre-defying style spans Americana, bluegrass, Latino, folk, and blues—earning them the label "Track Dogs Music." Based in Spain, they've gained international acclaim with performances at festivals like Glastonbury, Shrewsbury Folk Festival, and Broadstairs Folk Week.
Late 2024 saw a Christmas-themed release, while 2025 brings The Essential Track Dogs: Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered, a double album featuring 40 tracks of originals, covers, new songs, and reimagined favorites. If you're new to their music, start with Where to Now? (2022) or Blind Summits & Hidden Dips (2023).
