Najaa Young is a filmmaker and educator with a passion for storytelling and cultural preservation. With an MFA in Film Production from Florida State University and a BA in Theatre Arts from Chatham University, Najaa brings a wealth of academic and practical experience to her roles. She recently served as an Instructor and Film & Entertainment Studies Program Coordinator at an Atlanta college where she revitalized the curriculum and fostered creative excellence.

Her directorial work spans documentaries such as *American Africans* and *Black Dance in Louisiana*, as well as narrative films like *Blood First." Her extensive filmography is complemented by awards and recognitions, Beyond her filmmaking, Najaa is a published contributor to prominent platforms, reflecting on cultural narratives and the evolving landscape of media.
