My name is Max and I am passionate about Chinese martial arts which I practiced for 13 years between the ages of 5 and 17, mainly with my late uncle.
He mainly taught me Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong but he told me it was Kung Fu because when I was little I absolutely wanted to do Kung Fu to be like in Chinese movies and become "strong".
I was training all the time, when I was not with him I would train at home to show him that I mastered his techniques and that he could teach me new ones.
Today, I practice it mainly for the beneficial effects it has on body and mind.
However, I do not consider Tai Chi as the only element allowing to find a balance in life.
Food, habits, thoughts, words, surroundings ... play a role just as important as the practice of Tai chi.
