I started training in the martial arts back in the early 1970's. I trained in Lau Gar Kung Fu under George Shore, Ju Jitsu under professor Robert Clarke, I competed on the full contact kickboxing circuit in the latter half of the 70's, and the last art I trained in was, Wing Chun Kung Fu under Kevin Chan.
Quite by chance I came across a book by Geoff Thompson titled " 3 second fighter." This book was a revelation and consequently led to a complete overhaul in the way I perceive the concept of self defence and the way I currently train. Martial arts were designed for self preservation, to kill and maim ones enemy in times of conflict, it is widely acknowledged that 20th century sporting applications have diluted the original concept.
I have over the last 15 years or so perfected a small array of techniques that work for me, i hope you find the information ive presented here of some use to you ..
