Political arguments, read closely, by someone who won't pretend the other side is stupid.

I'm a rabbi and a technologist, American and Israeli. I read a contested issue the way I was trained to read a hard text: in good faith, against the strongest version of the case I disagree with, never the weakest. Then I ask the technologist's question, which is what the incentives reward and what breaks two moves later.

Each video works one real trade-off out loud. I tell you where I stand before I argue, then argue, and I change my mind on camera when the better case turns out not to be mine. I'd rather be caught updating than caught pretending I had it figured out all along.

If you're tired of being recruited to a side and want to watch someone actually think, subscribe.
