Ford Distributing was founded in 1976 by Don Mitchell, a forward thinking businessman, John Deere dealer, and a local farmer. Don was responsible for discovering the Multivator on a trip to the Italian Agricultural Fair - EIMA. We are proud that our relationship with Multivator continues to provide American growers with precision cultivation equipment, and a mechanical option for weed control.
Our company is now part of the Hayward Ag and Construction Division, focused on providing equipment solutions to farmers, contractors, landowners and the green industry. Our reach has grown west to the Plain States, and East to New England with the recent acquisition of the J.S. Woodhouse Company.
