My family has been involved in animal rescue in their free time since around 2000. My family nurses, tames, loves, takes neglected, tortured, injured, and abandoned animals to the vet, deworms them, treats them with flea medication, microchips them, and gives them all the vaccinations they need. They are spayed or neutered, and if they're ready, they're either put up for adoption or they stay with my family. Of course, my family does all of this voluntarily and pays for everything out of their own pocket, which isn't always easy, but in return, we receive a lot of love from our four-legged friends.
