As the Canadian Chapter of Transparency International, the world’s leading non-governmental anti-corruption organization, we are part of the global coalition against corruption. Our mission is to continue the global mandate of Transparency International by combatting corruption across Canada and reducing the role of Canadian companies and individuals contributing to corruption worldwide.
Through research and advocacy programs we promote stronger government legislation, increased accountability and better whistleblower protection. Education is another key component of our mission, as we aim to improve public understanding of transparency needs and demonstrate the negative effects that corruption can have on societies across the globe.
A registered Canadian non-profit organization, Transparency International Canada is operated by a volunteer board and relies on donations from supporters to continue our work.
