Back to the Bullpen is a baseball-focused podcast (and YouTube show) co-hosted by former MLB reliever Mike Stanton and sports commentator Brett “Htown Wheelhouse” Chancey.
Stanton brings his 19 years of big-league experience (including three World Series rings) to the table, offering behind-the-scenes insight, while Brett injects podcasting savvy and fan perspective.
Though the Astros are often a focal point, the show doesn’t limit itself to one team. They dig into league-wide stories, pitching trends, roster moves, and the kind of analytics + instincts that matter in real time.
The tone is a bit like sitting in the bullpen with pro players—honest, critical when needed, but also personal and conversational. Episodes feature game breakdowns, trade talks, performance evaluations, and reflections on what’s working (and what isn’t)
