Sole member Nathan Johnson’s sonic experimentations became LOYA in late 2014. Taking a pivotal turn into the world of “darkpop”, LOYA weaves an eclectic mix of influence into ethereal, dark and addictive songs. His combination of haunting synthpop and electronic alternative rock has been described as “Deftones meets Depeche Mode”.
"Exploration is the mission statement for Johnson. He’s exploring different genres and styles, but he’s also exploring different instrumentation and programming, and he’s doing it all himself...
