Vettavalam is a first grade panchayat town in Tiruvannamalai district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Vettavalam is located at 12.1°N 79.25°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 211 metres (692 feet).

Vettavalam is in between Tiruvannamalai and Villupuram NH38(Villupuram to Mangalore National Highway).
