Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad
Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad has been the Chairman ILM Trust and was founding Rector of University of Management and Technology, Lahore which was previously functioning as Institute of Management and Technology/ Institute of Leadership and Management since 1990. He has been the chairman of Association of Management Development Institutions in Pakistan (AMDIP) and member of the executive board of Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA). He earned Bachelors in Civil Engineering from NED University, Karachi, an MBA from Washington State University, USA and PhD from University of Wales, UK. His area of interest was organization and management, religion and science, and strategy and leadership. He has attended management conferences/seminars in over two dozen countries. He was managing editor of Economic Insight, a leading quarterly journal published by UMT.
