Why So Serious?

With why so serious do we go,
Through this life, with its ebb and flow,
Our joys and sorrows, our highs and lows,
In the grand scheme of time, what does it all pose?
We are but mere specks, on this earth so vast,
A fleeting moment, that will soon pass,
Our existence a blip, that will not last,
Insignificant in the cosmic cast.
And yet, in our hearts, we hold a flame,
A desire to be more, to rise above the mundane,
To create, to love, to leave our mark and name,
To transcend, to evolve, to reach new planes.
Could it be, that within us lies a spark,
Of the divine, a flame that can light the dark,
A power to shape, to create, to embark,
On a journey that transcends, beyond our earthly embark.
So why so serious, in this fleeting life,
Let us live fully, with courage and strife,
And embrace the unknown, with open arms and sight,
For in our hearts, we hold the power to ignite
