The PPZ8 drum set I have been using for the last six years (first used in one of the bonus tracks of my Redditaisai 2019 album _Synthesized Memories,_ then expanded over the years with additional percussions), has been retired from service. Moving forward, a new, different, better-​organized drum set (mostly sourced from the same drum VST that served as basis for Molkirill’s FM-​metal drums) will be put into service.

The first work to make use of this new .PZI bank file will be my Secret Santa gift for someone (identity to remain silent for now) in a Discord server dedicated to a Japanese media franchise (title also to remain silent for now). After that, its next usage will be on a project for which details will also remain silent (other than that it will be released next year), & then after that, it will be used in a planned remake of one of my most significant VOCALO98 works (which will also incorporate an old commissioned pixel art that was never used back then).

The next upcoming musical project, comprising five different versions of one same music cover, is done & uploaded to this channel; however, its identity cannot be revealed until tomorrow after a certain livestream goes public elsewhere on a different YouTube channel not owned by me. The five versions will be split across three different publish dates: while the first two dates have no real meaning, the third date observes a specific anniversary.

For the next musical project after this one (which will be a cover of yet another Mexican TV drama song, albeit not one by Tatiana but rather a more famous actress/​singer catering more to mature audiences than to juveniles), I will make a poll on which Synthesizer V virtual singer to cast for its singing role. Both vocalists have their own unique controversies, just like the TV drama itself (whose theme song will be chiptunified for this VOCALO98 project) had a very controversial ending, but I will leave it to you to decide which voice database you want me to use here:

After roughly six years of SoundClouding, now my SoundCloud upload history screeches to a halt as it has virtually reached full capacity (98%, 178 out of the maximum 180 minutes allowed for free accounts). This means I can no longer upload there (as backup) any of my future musical works, especially the instrumental PC-9801 versions of my vocal synthesizer productions (which I try to keep out of my YouTube channel, so as to prevent them from robbing views from the full-vocal PC-9821 versions, which are these days my primary YouTube content whose viewership I want to prioritize).
I do not plan to create a secondary SoundCloud channel because to the best of my understanding, SoundCloud only allows you to own one account there (& expects you to subscribe to their Artist Pro paywall if you want to upload more content to such single account, but that would only make sense if you only compose original songs that get a lot of plays & a lot of financial profit, & makes absolutely no sense if the bulk of your content is just covers that either can’t be monetized or garner too few plays to generate significant revenue). So, here ends my SoundCloud career (which anyways wasn’t my main source of followership, that title belongs to this YouTube channel you are subscribed to which is my true main public presence).
Moving forward, for full-vocal musical works (the PC-9821 versions), I will no longer publish their instrumentals (their PC-9801 versions) & will only upload right away the PC-9821 versions as soon as they get finished. (This rule will not apply to musical works that are purely instrumental, like Touhou covers & most of my paid commissions which usually happen to be covers of video-game BGMs that don’t use vocals at all; these will still be uploaded here as usual.)

The next upcoming full-length musical project, which was previewed by the May 16, 2025 YouTube Shorts work-in-progress video below, is almost done, with the instrumental part finished & now live on SoundCloud (as the PC-9801 Version), just in time for the 30th anniversary of the release of the posthumous #TexMex studio album bearing the same title as the song below, whose original source stands among the most memorable of the original performer (who did not live to see it debut on the airwaves): on.soundcloud.com/Iv1kEtigAD5oG3Lq2R

The PC-9821 Version will be attempted to be completed in time for the upcoming 30th anniversary of the release (as a commercial single) of the same song (the album came first, then the single). Look for the final version to go live on August 14, 2025!
