Mark Locki is an award-winning documentary filmmaker based in Calgary, AB, and Chihuahua, Mexico. His films have screened at International film festivals such as Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Whistler Film Festival, Mountainfilm and NorthwestFest, won awards at Newport Beach Film Festival, Atlanta Docufest, and Paladino d’Oro Sport Film Festival, screened for Congress Members on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, with partner nonprofits across Canada and the US, and have been broadcast on regional television in Canada.

His work focuses on environmental and social issues, with a strong affinity for personal stories of overcoming challenges. As a political science graduate with a specialization in international development and a professional background in immigration, he has a deep interest in topics surrounding changing cultures, our cities and environment, development and immigration.
