American Eagle Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bald eagles and other raptors. Our hope is to use the YouTube platform to provide high quality, engaging educational content on conservation, wildlife and birds of prey.
We have LIVE bald eagle nest cams that show how bald eagles act in the wild. Like the nest cam in Northeast Florida featuring Samson and Gabrielle and their eggs, baby eaglets and eventual fledglings. And Mr. President and The First Lady at the nest at the National Arboretum in Washington DC. And we have more coming in the very near future. We have a LIVE stream on Twitch several times a week that provides educational content for anyone who wants to learn more about bald eagles and other birds of prey. You'll see clips of our most famous resident raptor, Challenger the bald eagle, along with our eagles at Eagle Mountain Sanctuary at Dollywood-like Grant and Glenda.
We hope you share in our passion for conservation and education

Hi everyone!
It's that time again! Tomorrow (Thursday April 4th) we will release our third episode of Raptor Radio, "Let's Talk About Habitat Conservation". This is a very notable episode because we have, as a special guest, Ronnie Cowan from the University of Tennessee Extension program and host of the "Appalachia Atcha" pocast talking about what it takes to keep the habitats of birds of prey maintained and the efforts it takes to conserve the wild spaces that our raptors and all wildlife call home! Join Robyn and Crystal for this amazing discussion!

Hi everyone! As of today we will again be hosting LIVE chats on our NEFL and NADC nest cams! We will be very strict this season and will implement bans very swiftly if things start going askew. Remember, this is a platform to watch bald eagles and enjoy the peace of nature. This will not be a platform that spreads misinformation, harbors know-it-all bullies or encourages an atmosphere of hate.
And for those viewers who do want to spread the love, we are also introducing Super Chat on the channel. Super Chat is a way for viewers to donate to our organization while enjoying the LIVE bald eagle experience! When you make a Super Chat donation your chat message will go directly to the top of the chat thread and will stay there for a duration that is dependent on the donation amount. This will be especially helpful during modded chats!
Remember we are a non-profit organization so any way we can feed the birds and keep our cams going we are going to try and as the saying goes "every little bit helps"!

Here are a few shots of Lotus and Mr. President at the new nest taken by Sue Greeley and Dan Rauch. Based on ground observation, Sue & Dan believe there is a high probability that egg #1 has been laid in nest 2 (as of Feb 6).The tree is a white oak. We will post more as we get more information & pictures!

A few weeks ago, we learned that another eagle nest has been found on Arb property. This nest is near the golf course, in the direction of where we sometimes find eagles perched in the distance. It is not known if it is another pair of eagles, or if Mr. P and Lotus have built a second nest. It is being treated as a second pair of eagles until we can prove otherwise. There is no way for us to positively ID the eagles we see perched that far away, unless, of course, we actually see them take off and land at the nest. So, be aware that when we post that we found an eagle perched near the river, it may not be Mr. P or Lotus. Until we can prove anything, this other nest is being treated as a nest belonging to a different pair of eagles by the USFWS, by the Arb, and by AEF. It will be interesting to see what unfolds!
