Sailing Eremia
We had the American dream - house, cars, kids thriving in school and sports. But, when our oldest turned 9 (2019), we realized that maybe the American dream wasn't our dream. We were burnt out, stressed out, and rushing through our life not enjoying our kids as they were growing up. Our oldest was half way through her time being under our roof, and over the next year, we decided we wanted to make a drastic change. Every strategic decision since then was made with our dream of sailing as a family of 6 in mind.
Very few knew our dream until we announced it in July 2023, and I'm pretty sure we rendered more than a few people speechless. I have all the feelings as we prepare for this adventure, but as I tell my kids, fear gives you the opportunity for courage.
