About: Ashley Jade is a dancer, choreographer, content creator, and educator based in NJ/NYC. AJ earned her BFA in Dance from The Boston Conservatory, and is an alum of Springboard Danse Montreal, Bates Dance Festival, and Strictly Seattle. She has performed repertory by Jose Limón, Twyla Tharp, Francesca Harper, Robert Moses, Delfos Danza, Peter Chu, La Tresse, Tommy Neblett, and Zoe Scofield. While in residency with Delfos Danza in 2015, she trained extensively in Piso Movil, which has heavily influenced her approach to contemporary floorwork today. AJ Co-Founded/Directed Undercurrent Dance Company from 2017-2019 in Seattle, WA. AJ has performed in works by Liz Houlton, Liv Fauver, and Faunix. She has performed and presented her own choreographic works across Mexico, Canada, and the US.
