Hey everyone!


I just returned from my holiday to the incredible news that we’ve hit the 10,000 subscriber mark! It’s been a journey to reach this milestone, and I’m beyond thrilled to see that number 😊 I want to extend a huge thank you to each and every one of you for your ongoing support. You make this all possible!


It’s been a bit quiet on my channel lately, so I thought this would be a great time to give you all a quick update on my creative projects and plans. Let's start with some unexpected news: I'm not currently working on any audiovisual scenarios and won’t be for a while. However, the exciting news is that I’ve been commissioned to score an RPG soundtrack! I can’t reveal too much about it yet, but this project has been my main focus since the beginning of the year and will likely keep me busy until spring 2025. It's coming along nicely, and the soundtrack will be available on YouTube Music and all other streaming platforms once it's released. I’ll definitely keep you updated when the time has come.


In the meantime, I have some other music in the queue. Expect a few new tracks this year, along with two new videos coming very soon in the style of “Vistas,” which I shared earlier this year. I hope you’ll enjoy them!


Regarding the audiovisual projects—the heart of this channel—I’m eager to get back to creating new scenarios. I have many ideas in my head, but two are more concrete: one focused on mountains and another on woodlands. I’m especially excited about the mountains one, though for now, it’s just a working title and some notes in Google Docs. My plan is to develop it over the course of next year.

Excited to announce the third and final installment of my Isverden series. “Spirits” is going to be released on 16 June 2023 and will conclude the journey through snow and ice. It’s the second trilogy I finished and has been a very personal project that holds a lot of meaning on many different levels.


The album will feature 8 tracks with 32 minutes of new music, and there will of course be a video to it 😊 If you liked Hegelburg at Night, you may want to check this out.

Hi folks!

I'm going to try Shorts on my channel very soon, as an addition to my usual content. I don't like it, nor do I believe in the format. Problem is: When YouTube started prioritizing Shorts in November last year, the algorithm became very unkind to me. Lost half of my usual view count, and two thirds of new subscriber count, this channel is barely growing for a few months now. Many of my composer colleagues have confirmed similar drops in their YouTube stats.


So I guess I need to adapt. No worries - I will keep posting my long immersive album compilations, alongside with the single track videos. But I would like to see the impact of posting Shorts of these videos in between, even though I despise doing that. Hope you don't take it as an incentive to run away :) 

However, if you have ideas on what can be done to grow this channel, all input is much appreciated! :) Let me know what you think!


Other than that, there are a few videos coming up with music that I didn't share with you, yet. And the final chapter of "Isverden" is almost around the corner, too. Stay tuned!

After one year in the making I’m excited to announce my next audiovisual adventure - Isverden. Translated “Ice World” from Norwegian, the album features one hour of Ambient Fantasy Music, exploring a world of snow, ice, relentless cold, blizzards and a dungeon buried under a glacier.


What inspired me to this project was the release of Icewind Dale and the Rime of the Frost Maiden. While it includes peaceful, relaxing tracks, it’s also exploring the darker and otherworldly side of the scenario to quite some extent.
The release is available for preorder on Bandcamp with two tracks unlocked already - The video and full album release on 22 April 2022, hope you are going to enjoy it!

I’d like to have your opinion on something! Have been working hard on the winter theme album. Not quite around the corner, yet, with 40 minutes of music still to be composed, but the animation part is done (except for some minor fine tuning)!



Now here’s what I’d be curious to know: The project will not only include the “main” walkthrough video, but also the single tracks of the album with additional camera angles and atmosphere settings. Here’s the question: Which do you prefer? The sound effects will be included in both cases, of course. Feel free to add ideas in the comments!

2020 is coming to an end, a weird year that many of us would probably like to erase altogether. Despite its obstacles I hope my music was able to bring some happiness into your lives.
