And oh, the braces—those medieval torture devices that turned eating into an extreme sport. They were a literal pain, but I knew that one day, I'd flash a killer smile worth every awkward moment 😆 Patience and perseverance? You bet I learned those lessons the hard way.
And let's not forget about those bloody pink NHS glasses, because who could possibly overlook them? Whether I was lost in a book or exploring the world, those pink glasses were right there with me, reminding me to stand out and express myself fearlessly. And you know what? I learnt to embrace the challenge with a healthy dose of laughter and self-confidence.
Sure, growing up had its fair share of bumps and bruises. I don’t ever recall being bullied. Picked on and called names, sure. But you know what? Those experiences taught me to embrace my uniqueness, laugh in the face of adversity, and dance to the beat of my own drum, even when the world seems out of tune.
Looking back on it all, I'm grateful for the lessons I learned from these experiences. They've shaped the person I am today, and I wouldn't change a thing.

Like I’ve mentioned before, everything in the universe, from our thoughts and feelings to physical stuff, is made up of energy. A couple of days ago I asked which you found harder, saying sorry, or asking for help. For me it’s definitely asking for help.
Let's face it, the ideal scenario of having a reliable co-parent, extended family, and friends to lean on is not always the reality for many. As a single mum raising a 12-year-old practically on my own, I totally get it. I'm proud of how far I've come, but let’s face it parenthood isn't all rainbows and sunshine.
I mean, seriously, being overtired and cranky is an everyday struggle. It's tough to ask for help. Chances are, we’ve already been let down so many times. People often want something in return. And nobody wants to feel like a burden, am I right? We might worry about how others perceive us, fearing that they’ll think we're a failure or can't handle the parental responsibilities.
How can any of us make this parenting journey a little bit easier?
Think about this: Is struggling on your own really the best example you want to set for your child? Is it fair for them to have a stressed, worn-out parent all the time? Probably not. So, instead of framing it as asking for help for yourself, think of it as asking for help for your child's sake. It's a game-changer, trust me.
So ask for that help. Asking for help is not a weakness.
Everyone needs help sometimes. Don't be shy about reaching out and asking for a little assistance.
What might feel like a huge burden to us could be just a minor inconvenience for someone else. So, don't underestimate the willingness of others to lend a hand.
And hey, remember, nobody's perfect. It's completely natural to lose your temper and not always show up as the patient, loving parent you strive to be. When those moments happen, don't hesitate to apologise to your child and show them how to take responsibility for our less-than-desirable behaviour. It's a great way for them to learn too.
Single mums (and dads), you're superheroes in disguise! 🦸♀️💪 Juggling parenting, work, and everything in between is no easy feat. Asking for help is a testament to your strength, not a sign of weakness. It builds a community, offers a shoulder to lean on, and shows your kids the importance of teamwork. This has really shaken me.
It really is some kind of fucked up. Skinned alive after having her legs chopped off so that she can’t move. I assume her skin will be used for leather.
I don’t want to see things like this on my feed. I don’t want to try and fathom how someone can physically look another in the eye and murder them, slowly.
But I can’t turn a blind eye either. Sure, that would be easy. To pretend that sick shit doesn’t happen. To go about my day thinking all animals across the globe live happy and full lives, until they die a peaceful death. Because they don’t.
If I didn’t see photos, watch videos and documentaries on the exploitation of sentient beings, I’d still be ignorant. And I’d still be a vegetarian (I’m not saying vegetarians are ignorant, but as one, I was under the illusion I was saving lives 🤦♀️)
Sadly the dairy industry is as bad as, if not worse than the meat industry.
From wherever you are, whether you like it or not, eating dead flesh, eating and drinking dairy products IS being complicit in animal abuse, across the world. Not one animal sent to slaughter goes willingly. (There is no such thing as ‘humane slaughter’. Slaughter : the killing of animals for their meat, or the killing of large numbers of animals in a CRUEL manner)
NO ONE wants to see someone being hurt, abused, murdered, raped etc. Seeing animal exploitation on a daily basis absolutely breaks my heart. It hurts. I’ve seen a lot. But OMG humanity has certainly lost its way because the things I see shared, we do keep coming up with even more abhorrent ways of extreme torture. This here is a drop in the ocean.

The pineal gland and alkaline ionised water….
According to the late Dr. Mona Harrison (a total rockstar in the medical field) the only water that's safe and super nourishing for our pineal gland and our whole body, is ionised water. Everything we eat, think, our environment, and a bunch of other factors can mess with our vibrational frequency. You know that weird feeling you get when you step into a place and something feels off? Then, after a while, you start feeling completely drained and wiped out. It's like someone's constantly sucking all the energy out of you isn’t it!?!
Now, let's be real. No one can honestly say they feel refreshed and raring to go after stuffing themselves with junk food and getting wasted on boozy drinks all night. Or even after an intense argument, for that matter. That's because all the things that vibrate at a lower frequency - like certain objects, locations, and people (I’m talking about those energy vampires, I’m sure you know the ones) - can really bring down our frequency in a negative way. And when our vibrational frequency drops below 58 MHz, that's when we start opening the doors to dis-ease.
So, if we want to be as healthy as possible, we've got to be more mindful of what we put in our bodies. It's not just about the food and drinks we consume, but also what kind of thoughts and experiences we let into our minds. Here's a breakdown of some frequency ranges for the human body:
- The average human body ranges from 62 to 78 MHz, and can even reach 100MHz.

- Deep-fried food (farewell, french fries)
- Bread, cheese (they might taste great, but they're not doing your vibes any justice)
- Eggs (unsweetened apple sauce is a great substitute for eggs)
These are the goodies you might want to start including in your diet:
- Sun-ripened fruits or freshly squeezed fruit juices (nothing like a burst of vitamin-rich goodness)
- Raw, fresh-picked, and non-refrigerated veggies (keep them uncooked and full of vitality)
Of course, most of us tend to eat way too many packaged, lifeless foods instead of opting for the fresh stuff. But our bodies simply can't heal and thrive if we keep relying on processed foods, meat, and dairy. It's a recipe for disaster.
