Welcome. My name is Ilya, and this channel is my personal archive of historical ballads. Here I publish beautiful songs in the ballad genre — because this direction speaks to me deeply, and I am fascinated by medieval historical narratives and the personalities who lived through them.

On this channel, ballads will illuminate the key turning points in European history . These are stories of kings, warriors, heroes, and fallen men from the Middle Ages: Vikings, Saxons, Normans, ancient rulers, battles, fallen kingdoms, honor, sacrifice, and the last honor of those who refused to kneel.

Each ballad is set to beautiful slideshow visuals — atmospheric imagery that brings the era back to life. The music is dark folk, medieval, cinematic orchestral, with deep bass, hoarse veteran voices, ritual chants, epic orchestration, war drums, war horns, and medieval instruments.
