Mark Hanson Guitar
Grammy-Award winning acoustic guitarist Mark Hanson is a top performer, composer, arranger and educator in the field of fingerstyle guitar. He won a Grammy in 2005 for his contributions to the “Henry Mancini-Pink Guitar” CD, played for the U.S. President in 2009, and has shared the stage with many of the greats, including Jerry Garcia and Tommy Emmanuel.
Mark has authored over 30 guitar titles, including the best-selling “Complete Book of Alternate Tunings” and “Art of Solo Fingerpicking,” which is included in “50 Greatest Guitar Books.”
Mark lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife Greta Pedersen, where they operate Accent On Music LLC, and perform as a vocal/guitar duo.
